The last 18 months have been somewhat hectic for me and everyone who has been involved with us here at thebestof.
Having started off in 2009 with just thebestof Pontypridd it was quickly realised that our local area attracted businesses and services externally and many local businesses see South Wales as their core business region.
In
- June 2010 - we added Rhondda to cover the full Taff and Rhondda valleys.
- February 2011 - we merged with thebestof Bridgend recognising the similarities in eco-demographics
- September 2011 - took on thebestof Cardiff form the previous passionate owner Paul.
- September 2011 - created the holding company thebestof South Wales Ltd to simplify our core business operations.
Some current stats for thebestof Bridgend, thebestof Cardiff and thebestof pontypridd and Rhondda combined include:
- 25000 monthly page view
- 4800 local members (customers who have left reviews, and access offers)
- 150 core business members
A look forward:
As we all know 'we are only defined by our next performance' - not sure who that can be referenced too!
We will be bringing thebestof Cardiff in line with thebestof Bridgend and thebestof Pontypridd and Rhondda and delivering our core product which is the 17 essential marketing tools at your fingertips.
It is our intention to grow our business to a core base of 300 businesses that come highly recommended by their customers we already have set into motion the introduction of:
- event coordinators
- regular bloggers
- regular business networking evenings
Our intention is to increase our stats by 50% across the board within 12 months.
Our team of skilled marketers backed by a solid and switched on marketing franchise will enable thebestof South Wales to deliver a personal and unrivalled marketing service within our local economic area.
