This May Ddraig Valley Farm park opened it’s gates to the public. Set up by former Bridgend College students, Geraint Robson and Caitlyn Corless, this unique attraction offers a visitors the chance to get up close to some interesting and unusual wildlife - from traditional farm animals to more exotic animals such as tortoises, alpacas, iguanas and much more!
The venue also houses an aviary as well as accommodation for smaller animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Alongside this, the facility is also a base for students studying related courses to Bridgend College.
To date the attraction has won an array of local and regional awards and accolades, notably winning the Bridgend Test Town 2015 competition which resulted in the venue representing Wales in the UK finals of Test Town UK.
Ddraig Valley Park Farm is open every weekend and offers facilities, such as an outdoor picnic area, regukar guided tours of their Animal Centre, a conservation area, an activity area and ride along vehicles within the park.
