On Friday 31 May, as part of National Volunteer’s Week celebrations, Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations (BAVO) is holding an outdoor volunteer event in Bridgend town centre from 10am – 3pm.
Featuring all you need to know if you are thinking about volunteering, you will also find stalls from local charities and voluntary organisations.
Volunteers’ Week is a national event which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK and plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to their local community, inspiring others to get involved too.
BAVO has over 300 registered voluntary organisations offering a wide range of opportunities for all ages and abilities.
