Encounters Art Space of Hove returns for it's 9th year, showcasing a variety of work curated under a theme of 'Living Landscapes'. Featuring top international as well as local artists, expect an array of stunning and thought provoking art from this award winning Artist Open House.
Hove Civic Society is building a new sculpture plinth on the Kings' Esplanade to bring exciting new public sculpture to the city and to add to the artistic attractions of the seafront promenade.
Hove is best known for swanky restaurants, wide avenues, coffee shops, beach huts and over-zealous traffic wardens but there is so much more to the culture, activities and history of this lovely part of the city.
Hove is more relaxed and genteel than its larger neighbour Brighton with its wide avenues, grand squares, large lawns beside the sea, colourful beach huts together with cafes and lots of independent retailers.
