Hove Civic Society welcomes you to the official launch of Hove Plinth and the inauguration of the first sculpture, Constellation by Jonathan Wright. Official Inauguration will be by The Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Councillor Mo Marsh.

This will be a fun public event to celebrate this new cultural attraction in Hove. The activities on the day will include:

Music by Swing Ninjas
Cutting the ribbon ceremony
Speeches
Talking sculpture
Hove Plinth Heroes Awards
Art displays by St Andrew's Primary School
Special Treats

The event will be hosted by Hove Civic Society and the Presenter will be Vince Venus of Juice Radio Brighton.

Inspired by the Fourth Plinth in London, Hove Plinth will exhibit a changing programme of sculpture. Hove Plinth is an initiative by Hove Civic Society, funded by grants, crowd funding and help from local business.
