Steve repaired a leaking felt roof on our shed. His quote was reasonable and didn't change. Arrived at the agreed time, completed a neat professional job. Went beyond the original brief by adding additional support for the roof overhang. I hope we can work with him again.

Steve decorated my conservatory. He arrived on time, did a very good job, and was polite and courteous. He fixed my alleyway door which unexpectedly came apart at the time, without any extra cost. He also went the extra mile by putting back my furniture when he finished the job.

I recently bought a house in Beckenham which needed a fair amount of work done before moving in. Steve arranged everything for me, from plasterers, electricians, plumbers, decorators and even gardeners. He was always on time and available to chat anything through as were all of the workmen he put forward who were pleasant and respectful of my property. It might not be the cheapest way to get work done, but it was definitely the most efficient and stress free and certainly was worth every penny. He even came back to help me finish off after I moved in.
I will definitely be using him again and I am very happy to recommend.

I came across Steve's website whilst on the hunt for a handyman in the area. I was really pleased that he could complete a few jobs for us within a week of initial contact. Steve's friendly and professional approach came across the minute he walked through the door. He quickly got on with the jobs at hand from fixing a curtain rail to fixing a doorknob. He even helped with some grouting in the bathroom (even though we hadn't put that on the list)! An efficient service and good value. I highly recommend Steve.

We self manage a complex of flats in 4 blocks in Beckenham. Steve Hills has been our builder and handyman for a couple of years. We cannot recommend Steve enough, he and his team are: responsive and reliable and have demonstrated a high quality of work and technical skills in brickwork, painting, gulley and drainpipe repair and door repair among others. Steve's pricing is good value, transparent and invoicing timely. Above all Steve is personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Steve Hills did a painting and decorating job for me at my flat in Lewisham which is let out. I do not live nearby but I knew of Steve's work from a previous painting and plastering job he did for me. Because I am a long way away, I have to be able to trust the workmen who go into my property and I have absolute trust in Steve and his colleagues to do a great job and to treat the property with respect. The work was done to a high standard and finished on time with no hassles. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I asked Steve to come round some years ago to fit 3 sizeable mirrors for us and ever since , whatever the problem, our first (and only ) call is to Steve. He has resolved all our electrical, plumbing issues etc with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency. We have some larger projects coming up and the thought of the work is made a lot easier knowing we can go to someone as reliable as Steve. I cannot recommend Steve highly enough.

We would highly recommend Steve and his team. We asked Steve to strip, skim plaster and paint the hall, stairs, landing and main bedroom in our Victorian House. When my son moved into his new flat Steve fitted us in at short notice and came to fit curtain rails, binds, storage cabinets and light fitments for us. We had a whole series of little jobs needing doing around the house and garden and were beginning to give up hope of getting the work done as builders appeared disinterested. After calling Steve on the Friday and him seeing what was needed on the following Monday and completing the work the following Friday we couldn't be more pleased. Steve came out to our apartment to repair a reasonably minor issue but was still as professional as if we had hired him for a much larger job! Steve arrived when he said he would (very important after being let down by 2 other plumbers), did an absolutely fabulous job and charged the most reasonable sum. Steve did a number of jobs around my house to get it ready for sale. Fitted new garden lights, security lights, repaired non-flushing toilet, replaced sealant around shower and sink, filled cracks, replaced and painted a rotting wooden door panel and more, all in one day. He did a great job for a very competitive price and would have no hesitation employing him again.
