Chislehirst Chiropractic give some great advice on warding away colds and giving your immune system a boost...

If there's one thing in our lives that we can be sure of it's that nothing remains stagnant - change is always round the corner. If we forget that, nature always gives us that gentle reminder with the changing of the seasons.

That's already started happening here in the UK. Those leaves are turning red and brown, the chill is definitely in the air and you can definitely notice the days becoming shorter. It was almost completely dark when I got up this morning!

And despite the fact that temperatures the last few days have certainly felt unseasonably warm, the air is brisk first thing in the morning - so much so that my winter clothes have seen daylight again and it's time to get out winter coats, hats and scarves again.

It's no coincidence that as the weather cools we start to see a rise in sniffles and colds. Never is the time more perfect to give your immune system a little boost to ward away those bugs. So to give your immune system a natrual boost, make sure you eat plenty of living raw foods, drink plenty of fresh water, increase your intake of Vitamins B, C and D, garlic, probiotics, mushroom, zinc and manuka honey.
