Bromley residents will get a real panto treat this year with ex-Brookside actress Claire Sweeney starring in Sleeping Beauty at The Churchill Theatre. Joined by Kev Orklan as Chester The Court Jester, the panto promises a "fairy tale ending for your Christmas celebrations".

We all know the stories behind the traditional pantos, but it's always interesting seeing how different production crews interpret them.
And the fun is not restricted to the bigger shows - we've enjoyed plenty of smaller performances in 'provincial' theatres by am-drams or local groups - everyone loves a good ugly sister in drag!
