In a few days time it's Christmas Day,
We're frantically writing and wrapping away,
Last minute shopping's been stopped by the snow,
Especially for those with a long way to go.
So if like me you're feeling less than ready,
Try not to worry, just keep it steady.
There are more important things than turkey and beer,
Like good company, laughter and cheer.
Spare a thought for your neighbour,
Make sure they have all they need.
And if you have to travel this Christmas we wish you good speed.
