Shakespeare unplugged
9th July 2010

William Shakespeare comes to Bromley this August with one of my favourite plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream.

For the 7th and 8th August 2010, the Amphitheatre in Church House Gardens in Bromley becomes host to one of the most famous plays of all time. A perfect performance for the open air, A Midsummer Night's Dream is being put on by a professional cast of seventeen actors and dancers, in a performance that's part of a major UK tour and follows their sell out London run.

"This iconic and much loved Shakespeare comedy of lovers, fairies and fun is in keeping with the tradition of the piece, as the role of 'Bottom' will be played by a leading comedy circuit and 'Jongleurs' headline comedian. (A role that was historically played by the jester type)."
