Having spoken to two traders in town today who had both had problems finding a parking space in the town centre, (one who had had to wait 30 mins!) I wonder how much of a problem it is!
The general feedback and comments I have heard, centre around the lack of parking spaces being a problem that is adversley effecting trade in the town.
My own experience, having had the need to park in the town at least three days a week for the last three year, is a little different to the general feedback talked about above. Only twice over those three years have I had any trouble finding a space and I thoroughly appreciate not having to find change to pay for a ticket.
Is there a parking problem?
Is it only on certain days?
Should drivers be asked to pay or would this drive people away?
Perhaps the shop owners and workers should be asked to park elsewhere, making more spaces available to customers?
Any views from Buckingham residents or traders? What do you think?
