Walking through our lovely town yesterday, I saw a man on a ladder and he had just unveiled something...
Do you know what it was?
On Angel Hill, a beautiful blue plaque reminding us that Charles Dickens stayed there when writing the Pickwick Papers. It reminds us of the History attached to our lovely town and that famous poets even 200 years ago appreciated coming to our town and reading to the locals in the Athaneum.
We are lucky to live here for so many reasons.
And it cheered me up, as it was Charles Dickens 200 birthday. And our town rememered him fondly.
Just wondering which one was my favourite novel.... let's read them again shall we.
