Sheila and Ron Blackmore have run The Fox Inn for eight years. It boasts six luxury rooms and the couple and are delighted with the latest accolade given in recognition of its hospitality. “It is a seal of approval from our customers. “They have taken the time to show that they appreciate the work that has gone into their room and the attention to detail that we have shown during their stay,” said Sheila. The website is used by customers to leave reviews of their stay. It is then used by other potential customers when deciding where to book into. “It gives us a customer care guarantee to anybody looking to book with us,” said Sheila. “If you are coming from Australia, Scotland or anywhere else outside the local area, you will probably look at the TripAdvisor website and that will help you decide where to stay. “So it is very good news for us to get this award,” said Sheila. You can see the reviews in full at www.tripadvisor.co.uk – simply search for The Fox Inn Bury St Edmunds in the search bar. The positive feedback is no surprise for Sheila though. “We get showered with compliments via emails, and cards. “We have even had one customer write a poem about staying here, saying that the food was wonderful and the staff were brilliant,” she said. “We always get a glowing report because the staff are really good.” She said it was also the attention to detail such as handmade furniture from Rougham that had set them apart.
