The British Accountancy Awards inspire excellence in the Accountancy profession and recognise the top firms and individuals in the country. The Jacobs Allen team are shortlisted for the Independent Firm of the Year Award. This is given to the practice that demonstrates how they have added significant value for their clients and across all service areas. The winning firm will be chosen from the shortlist of those practices that show how the services provided have been fundamental in enabling their clients to achieve their business goals. The prestigious awards ceremony is being held at Old Billingsgate Market, London on Wednesday 21 November 2012. Keith Senior, Director of Jacobs Allen, said “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted and this is down to the strong customer focus we have and the expertise within our team to deliver tailored, successful solutions for our clients.” The judges for the awards include leading figures in the profession including Sir David Tweedie, president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland and Mark Spofforth, president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. The team at Jacobs Allen always strive for excellence, but never forget to give back to the community. They recently won the Towergate Challenge in aid of St Nicholas Hospice and are currently taking part in Movember to raise awareness of male cancers. Jacobs Allen Chartered Accountants has seen significant growth in all areas of its practice and is currently actively recruiting for its expanding Haverhill office.
