The Angel Hotel invited around 40 handpicked local bloggers and media to join them help mark the official opening of the new Wingspan Bar, located in the 12th century vault under the Angel Hotel. The new head chef Jay Scrimshaw (winner of Gordon Ramsay’s Best Local Restaurant in Britain award) stunned us with a selection of light bites and talking about his food. I loved the oysters in all 3 styles. Jo Christy aka Miss Sue Flay, blogger, baker & etiquette enthusiast told us why she started her blog titled "The Secluded Tea Party", just 3 years ago and the exciting journey it has taken her on since doing so. . Keeping your blog current and on-trend was another speaker's topic - award-winning interior designer Sarah Louise Gibbs from Finishing Touch Interiors who has just won the award of Most Loved Interior Designer in the UK in the 14 Days of Love run by the Best of nationally . With a free glass of fizz on arrival, complimentary drinks and award-winning food and speakers, we were seriously spoilt and will be back many times in the future. Well done the Angel and Team.
