Come here on a Thursday afternoon and I must admit I was very much surprised, absolutely loved it, had brekkie and a coffee, spent two and half hours painting my pottery I picked out, was so therapeutic. Already booked to go back with my little boy! 10/10 ✨

The team was accommodating and able to reschedule our visit when sickness prevented us from attending the original date.

Cafe itself is spacious with lots of ceramics available to choose from - suitable for everyone's budget.

Staff came to our table and oriented us to where to find the paints, etc. Loads of shades of paints to choose from! However, we did struggle with painting intricate or more detailed designs as the paint brushes on our table were larger and evidently well used with the bristles pointing in every direction. Staff kindly were able to source us the brush we needed when asked.

A lovely experience and the menu to order a hot drink or snacks is an added bonus!

My main criticism is the lack of communication about collecting the items after they are ready. We were told we would be emailed once the items were ready for collection. I received a 'thank you for visiting us' email after the date we were initially supposed to attend, but not for the rescheduled date. Therefore, I was unsure the timeframe to expect the items would be ready. I rang 2 weeks later, and they said it wouldn't have been sent to the kiln yet. I rang back yesterday after 3 weeks and was told items should be ready for collection, I explained I haven't received an email and was advised to check my junk inbox (i didnt find anything there either) and they said they would check for my items and ring me back. Phone call wasn't returned. I'm happy to ring up again to follow up during their opening hours, but if the communication after the visit was clearer, it would be helpful for both sides.

I visited The Albaster Jar (pottery painting in Chorley) for my very first pottery painting experience a few weeks prior to visiting the Fired Paint a Pot Cafe. The experience at Albaster Jar was fantastic from start to finish, and I am conscious I'm comparing both, but im just excited to collect the mugs we worked hard to decorate. Maybe the team could look into their after experience communication process and improve this for future customers?

Went to the adults evening class last night for the first time and I have to say I was very impressed. The staff were excellent, wide range of colours, plenty of different pottery to choose from all with different price ranges to suit your needs. Was able to take our own alcohol, Would 1000% recommend and looking to rebook again. It was a great laugh and we all really enjoyed ourselves!

Spur of the moment booking turned into a very enjoyable family day out. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and made us feel at ease. Everything was explained well and every concern was answered.

Would recommend it to anyone who likes to get their hands messy, have children or an impromptu ice breaker.

Great experience, staff were very friendly and informative, decent range of pottery to pick from to paint, atmosphere in the store was relaxing which helped to keep focused, there is a wait to get your pottery back from the kiln, little over 2 weeks for myself but the outcome was great, would highly recommend.

Fab from start to finish. I would highly recommend Fired paint a pot cafe. My daughter had her 6th birthday party here and loved it, such a fab idea. Thank you Emma and Erin for being such wonderful hosts and for being so welcoming. See you again soon I'm sure.

Took my son here for his 6th Birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The staff were very kind and helpful and the in-house coffee and cakes were very delicious! We will definitely be back and we can't wait to see our creations 😍

Me and my sister came in with our babies and we had the BEST time!! The staff were so kind and helpful, they did our babies footprints and were so accommodating! We loved it so much we have booked to attend their “fire and fizz” night and plan to go again with friends as I messaged most of them when I came out to tell them how good it was! It will definitely be something I will do regularly! It was so much fun, relaxing and something different (I now just need to find places in my house for all my new painted pottery!) HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is such a brilliant place to take your children and such a fun activity. It is so well run, set out beautifully and is great value for money. It also serves drinks and food in case you get hungry whilst painting! Has a great selection of pottery which will not disappoint the children and they fire it for you as well so you can pick it up later. This is such a hidden gem for Bury and visiting is a must!

Had a great afternoon in a party of six for a baby shower. It was such a relaxing afternoon with fabulous home made pizzas. Highly recommend
