Stayed over for an Xmas Party. The room was very nice, it was well equipped, (Iron and ironing board, Sky tv, hairdryer). The bathroom was big and clean and the showe was powerful and hot. The
Gym and swimming pool are an excellent. Breakfast was of a poor standard and hav had much better at cheaper hotels, was offered tea that never arrived and I was one of only five people sat down for breakfast, so not particularly busy.

Great location, easy access to motorway routes, rooms very comfortable with good sized TV and free WiFi staff helpful & friendly, pub with food menu & separate restaurant on site along with a busy and bustling Starbucks. leisure club with pool available £5 for non club room guests very good value.

The sleep was good but when i booked online I paid for a double bed and got to the reception they said I’d paid for a single bed when I had the email to prove it. I missed breakfast in the morning because they told me it was till 11am and in the morning changed till 9.30am

Even if it was just for one night, the stay at the Village Hotel was such a nice experience.
The staff was extremely friendly. They were super quick and nice when I managed to lock myself out and we had a good laugh over it.
The Food was great. Ordered room Service and had delicious Mussels!
I was sorry I had to leave the next day.

So, good bits: staff friendly, food lovely, club room bed soooo comfy, breakfast gorgeous...shower brilliant

Less good bits: party night advertised as ‘live band’ but band only stayed on for 1 hour! Dance floor sooo small and chairs crammed in so much that people climbing over chairs to get out. No biscuits in room and despite club rooms having coffee machine they only supply 4 little milks between 2 people!

Had a fab night as company was superb but not sure would book for another xmas party night due to issues above.....

Very disappointed in the room, I have stayed here several times and had always been very happy with the rooms. this time was terrible. it was like being in a cheap old fashioned pub bed and breakfast room.

Bathroom was dirty, grout and tiles were old and cracked, bath and shower were tired. the basin had a several deep cracks in it. the whole room felt very old and dirty.

The only good thing I have to say is the double bed (although very low - think it was a disabled room I was in - not happy about that either) was the mattress was an actual double mattress not one of the usual stupid pull apart ones.

Hotel is very conveniently located and offers great facilities. The leisure club and pool are a great addition to the hotel. I ate in the pub/bar in the evening and then had breakfast in the morning- both of which were very good quality with efficient service.

Good hotel great facilities and nice room. Excellent value for money we paid £37 per night with Expedia do can’t fault value for money. Only negative was the English breakfast was buffet was very cold so not very edible. Shame as the quality of good was very good. Would not put me off staying again as I’d just go to the on-site Starbucks instead.

Wonderful stay! Modern, and very clean, room abd bathroon. The Rainfall shower was one of the best I have ever used. We used the pool, and it was nice and warm, and the jaquzi was superb (not too much chlorine, my eyes were grateful). The prices per-night are amazing!

Almost everything was good but the window didn’t seal properly allowing too much noise to get in. Slept with earplugs. Bed comfy, shower fab.

Well equipped and clean room. bathroom slightly old fashion. But noisy environment from corridor and roof neighbor. Good concept to gather various activities next to the hotel. Breakfast was good as well with enough variety

Good atmosphere, comfortable rooms and reception areas, lovely food. The bar area has sports on tv's, generally had a good vibe about the place without being overcrowded. Left feeling relaxed, good value for money.

We booked this hotel at a fantastic price of£37.50 per night, and were really impressed. Upon arrival we were pleased to see ample free car parking. Reception was large, modern and welcoming. The self service check in made in extra speedy, although there were staff members around to help if needed. I was checked in, in less than a minute. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had the most beautiful smelling soaps and washes. The large tv with sky meant we were able to chill out after a trashing day. We went down for breakfast and the room was spacious and modern. Adequate choice of breads and yoghurts. The cooked breakfast was self service. Limited choice scrambled egg, tomato, mushrooms, bacon, beans and sausage. I’d have loved to see hash browns, fried slice and fried egg (but this is just a small thing). It was all lovely and tasty but like warm. So much so I couldn’t eat it. This was a shame as everything else had been so good. There is a Costa on site so I would order breakfast from there if I was to stay again to ensure it was cooked fresh and hot.

A warm welcome from the team upon arrival. They helped us sort travel to a restaurant which was quite a few miles away and even posted my credit card back when I left it in the room. Lovely hotel and staff. Would recommend. Nice to have a hotel with cheerful staff!

We booked the hotel via Expedia and got a cracking deal for £43 including breakfast. Didn’t expect much but we were delighted. Self service check in was so quick, I had my key and was checked in, in under a minute. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, excellent decor and big tv. Modern furnishings really added to the whole experience. The bathroom was spacious and had the most beautiful scented toiletries. We would definitely stay again.

I didn’t enjoy my stay at the village hotel because of people running and shouting down the corridors at 3 o’clock in the morning and also the room next door had their telly blasting at 8 o’clock in the morning. Which means I didn’t have much sleep. I also emailed about this and got no reply.

A lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Food is good quality and amenities are excellent considering the cost. We stayed two nights in a family room whilst Christmas shopping at the nearby Trafford Centre
