Nice hotel. But the rooms need cleaning. We found somebody else’s underwear left in our room after checking in.
The restaurant is very expensive. I would avoid using it. Instead eat in the bar. Or eat in the restaurant but order the cheaper food from the bar.

Great customer service. Had our booking upgraded and the whole experience made us invite more people to lodge at the hotel taking two more rooms. Practically everything one would need was in house. Good work

Rooms are nice lighting is poor fir girls wanting to do make not in the bath room. No plugs by mirrors so take an extension lead if you want to dry your hair in front of a mirror, cob webs in rooms just poor cleaners easy to fix

The room was lovely, the staff were friendly. The shower was awesome BUT the bed was hard so I didn’t sleep at all and woke up with numb arms..... couldn’t work the coffee machine and the instructions were for a different machine so had to go downstairs and purchase coffee

Lovely hotel in general. Club room was very nice, huge TV with Sky HD. Restaurant is stupdily expensive. I’d recommend avoiding it and eat in the bar instead, very nice food and a much more reasonable price.
The big downside was the cleanliness of the room itself. The duvet was dirty and ripped. Room was dusty. The shower design isn’t great, just gets the bathroom floor soaked with water. And the worst part was us finding somebody else’s underwear left in the room!! Clearly the room hasn’t been properly cleaned in a while.

Louise and the wedding team at the village were fantastic, they helped us at every step of the way. The whole day went very smoothly, staff were great and couldn't do enough to help us and our guests, food was gorgeous and all our guests commented on how lovely their meals were. The dressing of the room was amazing, attention to detail was perfect -- just like we wanted! Would definitely recommend the Village Bury for weddings, ours was perfect!

Excellent room, very clean and good gym / swimming facilities. Staff always helpful, would definitely visit again !!
I use this Hotel on a regular basis and find the location superb for driving into Manchester or most of the North West area.

I had my wedding on Saturday. Amazing is all I can say. It was not the most expensive wedding but the 'wedding team' especially Louise Muir were fantastic. They would have treated us the same if we were paying a million pounds.

The room was done amazingly and all my guests have commented that the food was amazing.

We booked in February this year and my 'husband' is Irish so on top of arranging a wedding we also had to arrange flights, hotels, taxis, the list is endless. Whenever I had a problem I rang Louise and she sorted it.

Also on the day of the wedding there was a problem with my catering team sorted that.

Definitely recommend, great value for money, and staff can't help enough.

A nice hotel. Accommodation was good value and comfortable. Restaurant and drinks were expensive. Great breakfast. A lot of steps to climb at entrance and disabled entrance was not clearly sign posted.

we were put in a disabled room and it was not explained about the pull cords.
My husband thought it was a light switch which brought a member of staff to check,.
She did not seem very pleased but if we had been told it would not have happened.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to explain to customers.

My father and I and family came over to Manchester not knowing where we were going, my uncle collected is all and drove us to bury, personally I thought this hotel was amazing the staff were super as they catered for for one of my uncles that has an allergy to wheat and it was no problems or the lovely staff, it was an amazing meal and a 2 day stay, if I ever came over again I would definitely stay in this hotel again, they went above and beyond to please us all.
So I would just like to congratulate that staff on doing an amazing job.
Very pleased.

We were staying two nights to attend a friends wedding. When we entered the room we noticed the headboard had fallen off the wooden baton and we had to put that back. Then when making a cup of tea we noticed a lump of chewing gum on a spoon! The bathroom also needs updating. The hotel's facilities, location and parking are good and were let down by these few issues

You need to address the sound proofing in the bedrooms. The noise made our stay unbearable. Door slamming noisy neighbours noise on corridors. TVs all too loud you could hear other residents talking as if they were in the same room as us.

We had a lovely stay but the big downside is that the walls and ceilings are not soundproofed and therefore you could hear your immediate neighbours talking, their televisions through the walls and there was a connecting door which made the noise level even louder. Door slamming, residents talking and shouting on the corridor level we were on, walking and running above us and on the corridor above us and this was all times of the night after parties finished therefore disturbing our sleep. It needs addressing.
