We enjoyed our stay and look forward to the next time. Rooms clean and well presented😄 Lovely beds and coffee machine. Pub is very nice and the food looked good. The breakfast spot on and we were shown to our table and given required coffee or tea. Loved it

Couldn't fault the hotel staff and accomadation although the life guard/swimming instructors attitude towards children having fun in the pool was disgusting. A complaint has been made!! Wouldn't use the pool again!!!

The hotel is very impressive from the outside, and the car park is huge, which is a big asset. The room was exactly as shown on the internet, as was the bathroom. Booking in at Reception was very slow, due to the fact that there seemed to be a problem with the self-checkin screen, and there was only one Receptionist to deal with a queue. I would not stay in the Hotel again at weekend due to the parties going on until the early hours.

we asked for an accessable room as my wife needed assistance grab rails in the bathroom whilst the bathroom was spotless the sink had a large crack in it and just long term wear and tear .we usually stay in a club room but we opted for an accessable room as my wife was a bit unsteady on her feet the window was in need of replacement as the draught was quite strong blowing through but the windows are about 15 yrs old this is not a criticism of the staff or management just an observstion that the windows do need replacing now i think .my intension is to return as we enjoy our stays at the village @Bury as its the best one that we like .kind regards to the management and staff who work there .

Very very reasonably priced, very clean and modern, something for everyone. We will definately stay again. Just the pub part that needs to tweek the music and turn it down slightly, I love to listen to music have a natter and a drink but it was too loud and people were shifting to be heard. Other than that a pretty perfect hotel.

read the detail i have entered. looks like someone smoked in the room before and i have to pay for the leisure facilities and previously did not have to. usually a good stay but these 2 things will stop me from booking again

Had a really nice stay at village spa, had use of the spa facilities and had a lovely massage. The food was excellent and has an onsite pub which is a bonus. Great location and easy to get too. Thank you

Arrived to find automated check in, I found this quite impersonal as I like to be given a bit of knowledge of how the hotel functions and where my room is. The room its self was huge and very clean along with being nicely decorated. The room however didnt have enough lighting which isnt helpful when it gets dark. The bathroom was big and provided towels and toiletries. There was also a ironing board, iroaln and hairdryer in the room. Check out was 11am so why on earth do the staff think it is ok to come in at 10.20 while I am half dressed is beyond me. This needs to be addressed along with the ridiculous prices of food at the hotel 'pub'. Go over the road to an actual pub which is a lot cheaper and was really nice.

Hardly slept because of the level of noise from a function. We were 2 floors up and could hear every single word of the music in the disco. Also the noise of room doors banging all night was incredibly loud. The room was nice, well equiped and the bed was comfortable. However, overall we were disappointed

First impressions of the hotel was that it looked very nice, and a large private car park was a nice bonus. Unfortunately when we arrived at Reception there was a large queue, and only one person behind the desk. We tried to use the automatic check-in screen, but it kept coming up with 'error', so we had to wait for the Receptionist. However she was very helpful, and dealt with us efficiently. The room was clean, and the bed very comfortable, but the noise until 3.15am in the morning prevented us from getting hardly any sleep due to a very loud Wedding. I would recommend this hotel, but definitely not on a Saturday!! The breakfast was okay.

We booked via the hotels website. The deal was a Sunday night stay for a couple for £50.00 we added breakfast and the total each was £32.50.
We arrived at 2pm, checked in, unpacked and headed to the pool.
We enjoyed the swim, jacuzzi, sauna and steam.
All included in the price.
We then enjoyed a few drinks in the pub and a 2 course meal in the restaurant. Again included in the price.
The we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book the Sunday special again.

It was our first visit to Manchester and we couldn't get a better place than this in Bury. We were given a warm welcome and everything was good. Amazing view, friendly staff and delicious food. Overall too good.

The bed had either been slept in or very poorly made. The toilet did not look like it had been cleaned.

Excellent hotel and always look forward to our stays here! The hotel is clean and well presented. The beds redardless of Club or standard rooms are exceptionally comfortable. I have back problems and never have a problem sleeping here. The rooms are spacious, cosy, well exquipped and the staff are delight from the minute you walk in until you leave despite whether they are welcoming you, serving you in a bar/restaurant or cleaning rooms. They are all happy, professional and friendly! Highly recommend - I stay when I come to visit relatives at least 4 times a year and have now started combining it with meeting friends too and they also stay... it so good even my friends from Bolton stay rather than get taxi's! 😃👍

Stayed here after getting an extremely good deal in the Village summer sale (which even included friday and saturday night which was a change). The first room we went in the Sky box did not work but when we told the staff they were really helpful and came up straight away to sort it own. When they couldn't we were moved to a new room straight away.

The bed is extremely comfortable and as part of the club room the dyson fan was a nice extra, as was the coffee machine. The bathroom was really modern and the shower was really great.

Only things which let the hotel down is how busy it is. There were a couple of weddings on which included bagpipes which could be heard from our room.

Also, the breakfast was extremely disappointing. In such a highly rated hotel with it's own restaurant you would think it would be a lot better. There was a limited choice for the cooked breakfast and the items that were there were either not very well cooked or seemed like they had been there a while. The only saving grace was the pastries and yoghurts.

Nice hotel if you're in the area but opt for breakfast elsewhere.

Great hotel. The staff, service and facilities were perfect. We had a great time. The central reservation Team appalling though. Do not make a mistake when booking on the website they were of no help. However, when I got through to the hotel they saved the day.

The reception staff Emma was great very helpful and friendly. Our room was good just way to hot even with Dyson cool and windows open. The tribute night entertainment was good but the whole set up of the room was terrible and very poor in terms of health and safety considerations to the guests. We were on a long table where we were packed in like sardines! We couldn't even pull our chairs out to get into them we had to climb to get into our seats. If there had been a fire we'd have really struggled and it'd have been chaos. Also, we booked for a table of 13 but when we arrived there was only 12 seats on our table and no room for our 13th guest who had to leave and go home because it was obvious there was nowhere for her to as it was over packed as it was. The entertainment and food were really good. The hot plates had to be passed down the guests using towels provided by the staff as the waitresses and waiters couldn't get near us to serve them because the chairs were packed in so tightly back to back. This was a hazard as we had all been drinking and the plates were hot requiring towels to handle them and we had to do this for each course served which was ridiculous. The spa facilities were great and we didn't realise there was a hot tub in there so that made our day lovely and warm. Also a nice vibe in there, friendly people other than the lady on reception at the leisure club who looked down her nose at us and was very abrupt and rude. I would go to the hotel again but I would think twice about the tribute night which is a shame because the entertainment and food were good but the room was overcrowded and as mentioned the fire hazard and healthy and safety aspect was terribly thought out. Also we found the breakfast expensive so we dined over at the waterfold farm pub where it was less than half the cost of the village breakfast.

Overall a fab night with fab customer service but drinks and food are all overpriced so expect to pay. Small cleanliness issue corrected immediately but not the comfiest sleep I've ever had. Receptionist is helpful and friendly.
