Great room Bar area is getting tired Food only average in the Restaurant and all though quality was good the breakfast was not very warm Beer was very good though. I thought the cost of £140 for the room was a bit steep

Room was pricey and very noisy if you are facing the motorway. The windows need upgrading as do not seal properly and there was a buzzing noise, (source unknown) from behind the TV.
The club room I stayed in was well equipped and bathroom was nice. Food was pricey in the restaurant.

We stayed at the hotel via a special offer to gym members. (We had acquired a dog at new year who woofed and yapped periodically all night but especially on Fridays when my husband went out. I decided I deserved a good night's sleep.) Check-in is easy and quick, our room was on the first floor - a very nice room. When I am away i take the opportunity to sort out the recipes I've collected and the long settee in the room was perfect for sorting my files out. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant. We started with terrine with toast - my husband was unable to eat the toast but the waitress quickly brought bread rolls. I had a main of steak stroganoff, my husband had the rump steak. I had a sticky toffee pudding for dessert, my husband had an Irish coffee. All the dishes were excellent and the waitress was friendly and efficient. We had an excellent night's sleep in a very comfortable bed and were down for an early breakfast. Everything is self service - fruit juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals as the choices to start.. The main course - bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled eggs (fried and poached cooked to order) were all hot and well cooked. Toast and croissants to complete the meal with unlimited tea and coffee. Check out was very quick - just put your keys in a box. By the time we stayed at the Village, the dog had settled down and had stopped woofing all night so the original reason for booking a room had changed but it was so nice to have somebody put my meals in front of me - absolutely no complaints.

We came ten years ago for my sons wedding so decided to come for mums 90th as the location was good for the family. We all were sadly disappointed compared to last time. The decoration is dire and the only saving grace were the few staff we saw. Not good value compared to the Premier Inn.

Upon arrival we received 5 star customer service and offered early check in which we had forgot to book. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Will definitely be using Village Club Hotel for future trips.

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly however if you do not drive the location isn't ideal as there is not much around the hotel. There is however a pub next to the hotel which is lovely. Overall great stay.

Its fine for the stay but a but too much like a sports center. Dinner and breakfast are fine but nothing to write home about. Sports facilities are very good. Room is not up to standard being the top in the class and it was very noisy. Also someone was outside smoking early morning 3am and talking so was not impressed

Great hotel, I stay in this chain all the time, however trying to get VAT from them (when you have purchased food and drink at the hotel) is like getting blood out of a stone. If you are on business I would try and avoid this as it is a pain.

Great staff, great room - especially the bed and shower and the massive TV, great pool, great bar. Shabby changing rooms in gym only let down. We're dirty with litter and cleaning equipment strewn about.

Hotel is lovely and rooms are really clean & comfy however the traffic noise from the nearby motorway kept us awake most of the night despite wearing earplugs!
Tip:Ask for a room on the back of the hotel as it maybe quieter.

What can i say, its a Village Hotel it has everything. Lovely rooms, big tele, massive comfy bed with best pillows in the world,an en suite to die for, coffee machine everything you need. The help yourself breakfast is second to none quality food. The staff are great fun all smiley miley people with good sense of humor just what i like. Value for money on deal prices cannot be beaten by anyone. Will be going back again, too good to miss.

Good hotel, drinks are a little expensive and the shower looks good but has no power but other than that was a nice stay. The bar staff caused chaos in the bar by changing the tv channel half way through a rugby match which led to our party being threatened.which was a shame as everything else was good. This could have been avoided by the management.

We booked a Sunday night special (look under offers) . It was £50 for an overnight stay with a meal for 2 in the restaurant. We added breakfast for £15 for 2 so a total of £65 for dinner b & b for 2. The room was lovely, large, clean and modern. Food was amazing my hubby could even have peppered steak on the deal, i had a posh burger followed by sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fudge cake. I used the facilities and had a swim and sauna lovely. We also had some drinks in their pub. Fantastic value and a nice stay, we will do it again.

Overall stay average. Room very nice and really clean, but beware walls are thin and we had really noisy neighbours who had a party in their room till the very early hours. We were also charged for breakfast, even though we didn't go down to the restaurant for any breakfast, so always check your bill afterwards. We had a meal in the restaurant, which was really nice but thought it was expensive for what we got.

My son organised my surprise party here so I can't speak for him but no arrival we had a lovely welcome from Ashley and was upgraded to a Club Room. We were delighted with it especially the tassimo coffee machine and huge telly. So much room too. The party was in the room downstairs, the only gripe on that was no toilet facilities which were located up a flight of stairs and across a long corridor. Not ideal once you've had a few drinks!! The buffet meal chosen was excellent, the bar staff were very good too. The DJ I assume came with the party package, he was brilliant. Overall me and hubby had a great night with family and friends and would definitely recommend anyone to have their party at The Village Bury
