Very good Super comfortable rooms , great bar and restaurant. Staff were amazing The only slight complaint would be the breakfast isn’t the greatest

Exceptional Lovely spacious and comfortable with the distinctive village hotel feel Breakfast. Ohh smelled horrible and how can you get scrambled egg to taste so wrong? So it's advertised as a good breakfast which means not a full English... You you accept that black pudding, fried eggs and hash browns are missing. But what you do provide you should do well. They need to improve breakfast.

Visiting this hotel was a really good experience.
The gym, changing rooms, pool side etc was faultless.
Facilities nice and clean and staff were helpful.

The food however, like many of the restaurants in the village gyms was pretty poor.
Also £14 for a large chicken tenders or chicken wing starter?I had to ask if this was a mistake!

The main (we ordered burgers each) was certain they were not fresh, over cooked and just about warm.
Same story in your other restaurants especially for the mains.

This particular visit to your restaurant, the staff were very professional and did offer a free dessert due to the poor burgers which was a nice gesture but the meal was kind of wrote off at this point.

Review your prices and align the quality of your food across the board.

You can't charge top coin and deliver below average meals.

Pretty much most things you need and great amenities! I was automatically upgraded to a larger room which was excellent and enjoyed the use of the gym. The restaurant unfortunately doesn’t offer a lot of choice although the burgers are very good. There were no alternative options for those with food intolerances such as dairy free etc.

Great stay, very nice hotel, amazing rooms and facilities. Given our previous stays at various other Villages, this was by far the best out of them all still a few loud rooms so be aware if coming with children. Staff are extremely helpful and nice especially Megan on reception (Nights) she was extremely helpful in making sure our stay was brilliant. The pool and gym facilities were brilliant. Will defiantly be visiting again.

Very nice hotel. Huge, clean, very friendly staff. Good experience in pub/restaurant. Giving our previous bad experiences in Warrington and Ashton, we decided to order chicken tenders and wings with fries (didn't want to risk ordering steaks or burgers) and food was very fresh and tasty, so maybe next time we will explore more. We had a lot of fun and we will come again soon.

The website advertises a family room with a sofa bed as suitable for 2 adults and 2 children up to age of 12
Unfortunately the sofa bed was not big enough to comfortably sleep our 8 Yr & 10yr old boys.

On this occasion the hotel were able to very kindly change our room to x2 double beds which was more comfortable.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with adequate space.

The hotel bar is extremely noisy and not particularly family friendly. We didn't enjoy our meal in there which is a real shame as we are pretty laid back but we wouldn't choose to use village with our family again because of this. Bar prices are high.

If using booking.Com to book be aware there are pool restrictions for children too at certain times which aren't mentioned on their website.

The staff are lovely and very friendly. I would recommend the hotel if you're not taking young family with you

Nice break Staff Sadly like probably like a lot of hotels Village looking a little tired after the lockdown Damp on bathroom ceiling... But sure they will do renovations when everything is more normal Didnt spoil our 2 nights there Used all the facilities Pool and locker rooms were spotlessly clean Food in restaurant was excellent Staff are lovely Special shout out to Jade on reception who tracked a hairdryer down for us within 10 mins and brought it up herself to us as the one in room was broke Will definitely be staying again soon

Great Location for the venue we wanted to visit, would definitely return Room big enough, very clean no issues at all. Breakfast was great and vet accommodating for our Gluten free guest If I had one thing to improve on would be the clearing of tables as not a very welcoming site when arriving to eat. Booked this hotel purely on the basis of the pool (so the kids could swim after a long journey) when arrived found out that it was shut, which I was disappointed with. I do feel that they could have notified us. However the lady on the desk was very apologetic and offered complimentary breakfast.

Lovely looking hotel with friendly staff Good size car park which wasn’t over priced. Beautiful building. Friendly staff . Nice clean hotel . Nice looking bar . I understand a bid waste of food but would be better to help yourself with breakfast even if it’s just toast and croissants etc .if your employing a chef to serve can he not have a little station to serve fried and poached eggs . To have no fried eggs in the morning is poor .. a DVD player in the room would of been a benefit.. not many hotels this price are without air conditioning. The fan in room was very poor . a later swim for 14 year olds with adults would of been nice . A vending machine with drinks and snacks would be a good idea . Not much choice on bar food menu especially desserts .

On the whole it was fine The bed was very comfortable and room clean. The pool at Bury (Manchester) is excellent. Breakfast was good quality food but was lukewarm and tea/coffee machine was not working properly, we did not get a hot drink or a hot breakfast. Cost of swimming pool access for our family who came to visit was very expensive.

Fab hotel, great place but why do you get other residents make so much noise in rooms ain’t being funny but don’t people think in life! Unbelievable if I hear my kids etc being heavy footed etc I’d say something but don’t know why now when you here doors slam and kids running up and down jumping come on parents have some consideration to others 😡

Booked the dine and stay package for a family celebration. Excellent value, nice rooms and the food was very good although staff struggled serving a group of 21. Made use of the pool which is well laid out with area for older members of the party to view.
All in all had a great time and will return.

Couldn't recommend more The entire stay was amazing. The staff were very kind and welcoming, the room was very tidy and cosy and the food was lovely. The shower was lovely however it leaked onto the bathroom floor which made it very slippery.
