A Day In The Life Of Patman

It was last Friday afternoon at 5.30 and we were about to leave the office.
The phone rang and a man who sounded a little desperate asked if there was any chance of us attending the Gmex centre in Manchester the following day to test some appliances. Apparently he had been let down at the last minute and needed this service attending to.

He was organizing a small exhibition stand on behalf of his client and the organizers required to see that Pat Testing had been carried out and to have site of the certification of proof also.

We arrived to site on the Saturday afternoon at 2.30 just as the snow had started to take effect. I skated into the exhibition hall following the usual Health and Safety formalities i.e. High vis vest, signing your life away etc. and was met by Debbie, one of the team from the agency.

I was a little early which was no bad thing, and then carried out the Testing as required. Once this had been done and everything had been tested, checked and stickered as required the job was complete.

I said my farewells and disappeared into the snowdrift awaiting me outside the venue.

Once back at the office the test results were downloaded and emailed them over to my client so he could print them out in readiness for inspection on Monday morning.
The client was more than appreciative for our swift and efficient service.
Another emergency averted by Patman!
