The finalists have now been announced for the National 2010 Digital Entrepreneur Awards.
With only 5% of entrants making it through to the final selection, top businesses from across the UK are now celebrating their progression to the next stage of the competition. Finalists include Ernst and Young, dating site global personal, top London restaurant Pied a Terre and Adepteo, a leading provider of quality telephone systems.
The winners of all fifteen awards will be announced at the sparkling ceremony on 1st December at the Palace Hotel in Manchester and will recognise the top entrepreneurs in four key online sectors: design and technology, sustaining society, e-services and the heavily contested business category.
The entries have also uncovered a number of trends, in particular the mainstream emergence of mobile-commerce in the coming year. “This year’s awards seem set to bring together the innovators and entrepreneurs who are going to change the face of the net as we know it in the next twelve months,” says Lawrence Jones. managing director of UKFast, the main sponsor of this year’s awards,
