Bury BusinessLodge are supporting The Bury Hospice Corporate Challenge and they're having some great fun in the process.........................

And why ever not!

Just a couple of months ago, Bury Business Lodge decided that they'd embark on being involved in this years' corporate Challenge. For those of you who haven't heard of this or are not sure what it's all about, it's a brilliant way to raise funds for a great local charity which no doubt we will all have been touched by at some point in our lives; Bury Hospice.

Each business who chooses to become involved is challenged with raising as much cash as possible before the end of October.
They begin with just £50 and have the task of turning it into something far greater.
Bury BusinessLodge are undertaking the challenge as part of the Made In Bury Brunch Club which is hosted at the centre. Together with the other ladies they've pulled together a pretty active calendar which covers many different activities.

So, what are they all up to?
Here's just a few things that have, are or will be happening......

The Gauntlet Games - a team will throw themselves over and around an inflatable assault course!
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks - already completed and alone has raised almost £2k
The Ladies Clarion Bike Ride
Name the teddy
Bags of clothing for cash - already close to the £1k mark.
There's also a ladies lunch and much more planned too. In fact even a BusinessLodge client has offered to help - he's completing a white collar boxing match with all funds raised supporting the team here.

The team here are up against many other local companies large and small but they're on a mission and in it to win it!! All will be revealed in October and we can't wait to see how things pan out.

In the meantime, we wish everyone lots of luck for (we hope) a victory roll very soon.
