Bury FC "Point of Sale" ticket opportunities

Bury Football Club is currently inviting shops and charities in and around the Bury area to sell Match Day Tickets alongside their existing product range.  All participating stockists will be provided with posters to advertise tickets on sale in store, along with a listing on the Bury Football Club website, and promotion on social networking outlets such as Facebook and Twitter.

Karl Stringer, Project Developer at Bury Football Club said: "After the great success of achieving promotion last season, this is a fantastic opportunity to increase footfall into local shops whilst providing a great product for any football fan to enjoy.  We're really keen on working with the local community and we've been looking at ways to drive extra business into the area, so this gives us an opportunity to do something that really benefits everyone involved.

It's going to be so much easier for people to be able to get their tickets whilst they are in the town centre in advance of a game rather than making a special journey to the club, and enabling them to get straight into the stadium on match days.  Tickets will still be available from the club as normal - this just allows us to make tickets readily accessible to more people, and encourage extra ticket sales through passing trade.

We're looking to have tickets available in a range of industries, so I would welcome contact from any shops in the region wanting to be a part of this project, whether they are based in Bury or the surrounding towns."
