Tonight (Friday 11 October) is Bury Light Night, when the town will come alive with all manner of arts, music, performance and visual treats.
Unusual and special events for all the family will take place against a backdrop of lit-up buildings and animated public spaces, mostly free, between 6pm and 9pm.
There will also be a tasty array of bustling markets and food and drink on offer, plus late shopping opportunities.
Getting to Bury Light Night
Buses or trams are a great way to get to Bury Light Night. You'll have no problems parking and there are direct services to Bury from most surrounding areas and further afield. Visit the Transport for Greater Manchester website www.tfgm.com to find out which is the best service for you. Here you will find information about fares and a journey planner for all public transport in the region. Alternatively, phone Traveline on 0871 200 22033 (calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras).
