Voters in Bury have backed Leave in the EU Referendum, by 54% to 46%.

Some 54,674 voted to leave the EU, while 46,354 voted to remain.

The count was held last night at the Castle Leisure Centre, and Bury was the first authority in Greater Manchester to declare a result.

The UK has voted to LEAVE the EU today.
