More than 150 people, including coaches, volunteers and athletes, turned out for the event at Radcliffe Civic Suite. Organised by Bury Sport and Physical Activity Service in partnership with Radcliffe and Bury South Sports Forum to celebrate Bury's sporting achievements.
The winners will go on to represent Bury at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards on November 9th at The Point (Lancashire County Cricket Ground).

The event was opened by the Mayor of Bury, Councilor Joan Grimshaw, who also presented the awards.
Guest speakers were Bury Olympic torchbearers Dan Bird, Rick Wesolowski and Sally Hadley. MC for the night was Dr Nick Ibberson, while the Bury Street Shakers gave a show-stopping performance.
Councillor Jane Lewis, cabinet member for leisure, tourism and culture, said: “These awards have been going for more than 40 years and they are a superb way of acknowledging the contribution that people make to the borough’s sporting achievements, whether as a club, volunteer, coach, competitor or supporter.
“Congratulations to all the nominees and winners and good luck to the six winners who will be representing Bury at the Greater Manchester Awards. Thanks also to the sponsors for their generosity and helping to recognise community sport in Bury.”
