BusinessLodge, the flexible space provider with innovative office spaces in the North of England and Midlands, has received two shortlistings in the UK’s national flexible space accolades – The FlexSA Awards Both the Bury and Stoke-on-Trent sites have been recognised for their Excellence in Customer Service.
BusinessLodge will now go on to compete with 12 other office space providers, with five overall winners being announced on Thursday 24th November in the Awards at London’s iconic Landmark Hotel. A highlight of the industry calendar, the FlexSA Awards will bring together the flexible workspace industry for an evening of celebration and networking.
BusinessLodge launched in 2001 in Bury with Europa House, before growing to 4 buildings in Bury. Then in 2019 venturing into the Midlands and opening Trent House in Stoke on Trent. BusinessLodge has gone from strength to strength with great teams in place in both locations and a strong focus on community. Always striving to go the extra mile. BusinessLodge has a motto of #Lovewhereyouwork – and always look to create an environment where our clients truly do Love where they work.
BusinessLodge has a team of 25 people across both locations looking after all our client needs – anything from IT and telco, to catering for business meetings – even down to sorting dry cleaning and car valets. Anything a client needs – a member of the BusinessLodge team is there to support with. Over 220 companies have BusinessLodge as their home – and this network is continuing to grow. In the last 10 years BusinessLodge has gone from 1 building to 5 buildings, all delivering the same level of customer support, friendly professional atmosphere and business standards. The brand has gone from strength to strength.
The Flexible Space Association (FlexSA) is the professional trade body for flexible workspaces across the UK, representing hundreds of members. Its members comprise the operators of serviced and managed offices, coworking space, business centres, workshop units and virtual office providers, as well as providers of services to the flexible workspace industry.
Finalists in the Excellence in Customer Service category have been shortlisted based on different geographic areas across the UK. The award recognises individuals or teams working at a flexible workspace location, or in a company which supports the flexible workspace industry, delivering an excellent service to all customers.
Judges of the Awards include a number of esteemed industry professionals such as Freya Cross, FlexSA Chairman of the Board; Ian Calder, a Chartered Director and founder and former owner of Centrix; Gareth Evans, a Chartered Accountant by training, having held senior roles at Sun Life, Whitbread and Orion Media Marketing; Liz Hamson, former editor of PPA award-winning title Property Week and founder of BE Content Solutions, and Sophie Turnball, industry professional for over 13 years and Commercial Director at Work.Life.
Kate Holt, MD at BusinessLodge said: “We couldn’t be happier to be shortlisted for not one but both of our BusinessLodge locations. We take Customer Service extremely seriously and have a community-focused approach so whether you are a one-man band or 120-strong team, we offer a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. We’re told time and again that both locations are professional, friendly working environments and this is testament to the approach we’re taking. We can’t wait for the Awards night.”
FlexSA Chairman, Freya Cross, commented: “I was very pleased with the large number of entries we received this year, from Flexible Space Association members of every size. They felt a real celebration of the best of the flexible workspace industry, and there were some very hard decisions for the judging panel to take in deciding on the finalists. I’m looking forward to presenting the awards to the winners at our Gala Dinner at the end of the month.”
