The Bury Dementia Alliance are currently working towards receiving national recognition in making our borough dementia friendly. From this, they are encouraging all businesses in Bury to come forward and join growing number of members helping our community become a better place to live and work.
By submitting a brief action plan and becoming a member, businesses will become part of the local dementia group and will receive free dementia training.
Dementia training will teach staff how to communicate with those suffering from the disease and will therefore give businesses the ability to offer an exceptional customer service.
All businesses part of this fantastic group will receive Dementia Friendly logos for use both online and offline, as well as recognition that they are helping a very important cause, focused locally.
