At Dragonfly Crowd, the wellbeing of our community, friends, family, and staff is paramount, not just during Mental Health Awareness Month but throughout the year. For us, fostering a supportive environment for mental health is deeply personal and a core value.

This month, our social media has been abuzz with content aimed at raising awareness and educating our audience on the importance of mental health. Every post is a step towards destigmatising mental health issues and encouraging open conversations, something we at Dragonfly Crowd strive for.

As someone who guides those interested in including mental health cover within their Private Medical Insurance (PMI), I strongly believe in the power of simple daily activities to enhance mental wellbeing. A key aspect of my routine is my morning walks with Nelly, Dragonfly Crowd’s beloved "head of barketing." These walks are more than just exercise—they are a source of joy and purpose. Counting my steps each morning and watching Nelly select her favourite stick, I find these simple pleasures immensely uplifting. I really believe that sticking (pun intended!) to a regular routine can help set a rhythm that really boosts your mental state.

Apart from walking, I'd like to share a few habits that help me maintain good mental wellbeing:

  1. Get Adequate Rest: Ensure you get enough sleep each night. Good sleep is essential for both your mental and physical health.

  1. Talk to Someone: Engaging in a chat with a friend or a confidant can be incredibly therapeutic. Don’t underestimate the power of sharing your thoughts.

  1. Eat Healthily: Maintaining a balanced diet does wonders not just for your body but also for your mind.

  1. Seek Help When Needed: It’s absolutely okay to ask for help during tough times. Remember, reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.

If you're considering mental health coverage in your PMI, I’m here to help guide you through the options and ensure you have the support you need. Mental health isn’t just a personal issue; it affects us all, and here at Dragonfly Crowd, we are committed to being part of the solution.
