Festive frolics and an opportunity to WIN a great prize!

Today was just an ordinary day or so I thought.  There I was picking up the phone to one of our business members only to be told "I'm dressed as an elf"  Very random I thought, then - "can you hear my bells?" - to the sound of little jingley jangley Christmas bells rattling down the earpiece of my phone.

This I have to see, were my thoughts and so I asked how long this outfit was going to be worn - "Oh a while yet, we're getting ready for Christmas - we are all trying them on"

It would have been wrong for me to have missed such an opportunity and so off I shot, camera in hand to shoot an elf amongst others.

Who is this business?

It's the Village Hotel, Bury.

Now all I can say is, if this is the sales and marketing team in November , can you imagine what the parties are like!?!?

I love it when people enter into the Christmas spirit of things without having to drink it.

As I arrived I was met by not only an elf but a Christmas tree, a fully wrapped parcel, Mrs Claus, a Christmas cracker - just waiting to be pulled! (just joking) as well as a rather jolly snowman.  Every single one of the girls  -  and Mike the general manager were really up for a laugh and we proceeded to the hotel reception much to the amazement of the guests to take a number of photographs and then out onto the front steps for a few more.  The photo's are great and really reflect the personality of the team here.  Where else are you going to get this in December, let alone the last week of November?

So........ based on the fun we had today and the humour of the sales and marketing team I have decided to run a caption competition.  The Village Hotel have offered a fantastic prize of tickets for 2 adults and two children to the Cinderella pantomime with food (at a date to be arranged) This amazing prize is worth £50 and we will run this until the 1st December when Mike, the Village Hotel's general manager will choose the winner.

So thinking caps on - the quirkier and funnier the better in my eyes but keep it clean!

May the best elf or elfette win - good luck everyone!!!
