Learn how to become “Green Fingered” at free planting sessions for children and adults.

The three workshops take place at Coronation Road Community Centre and Library in Radcliffe.

Separate sessions entitled 'Becoming Green Fingered' are being organised for adults and children on the following dates covering:

• 6th June - Composting

• 20th June - Plant care and pricking out seedlings

• 4th July - Collecting seeds from plants, storage, splitting plants and re-potting

Children’s sessions run from 4-5pm on all dates, and from 2-3pm for adults.

In addition, gardening related activities for children will be held on 30 May, 13 June, 27 June and 11 July.

The sessions are being co-ordinated by Jacqui Goggs from the Bury Accessible Nature Group (BANG). This group regularly carries out conservation and special projects with local people with the aim of improving their health and well-being and to take an active role in improving the local environment.
