Trudi Hilton and Susan Rowlinson, the mother and daughter team behind Finishing Touches, completed the 5k Race for Life earlier this month. They raced alongside ladies from the Tesco Bury store, supplying each of them with personalized pink heart foil balloon to spot them around the track!
Susan and Trudi put together a gazebo and decoration for the ladies followed by some well-earned refreshments supplied by Tesco. Sue finished the race in a very respectable time of 34 minutes and 26 seconds. A good run, a great laugh and a very good day had by all!
About Race for Life
Race for Life is Cancer Research UK's flagship event, with over 230 different races now taking place across the country. The event aims to bring women together to beat cancer through a 5k walk, jog or run.
Since the race was first started in 1994 an incredible 4.7 million women have raised over £370 million to fund Cancer Research UK's life saving work.
