A recent visit to a site that Horizon Developments were working on left me in awe of how a building can be transformed. When we look at images it's hard to determine how something first looked and transformed to it's modern day self. From what could well have been an empty shell, or that looked poles apart from how it does today, an almost new looking property has appeared.
The four bedroomed property in Whitefield that I had the opportunity to visit was being well and truly converted.
So what had the guys at Horizon delivered so far?
Firstly a double extension adding more space and an extra dimension to the property. Still four bedrooms, this is now a space that has been extended upwards as well as outwards, and upstairs now features a fabulous dressing room and en-suite with a hand made arch between rooms, delivered at the owners request. Due to the restructuring of the upper floor rooms, the bathroom also became much larger.
To undertake this project was huge for Horizon and it included many talents and much expertise.
Internal walls were removed throughout the property and RSJ's installed to ensure safety and stability. The works included plastering, plumbing (including radiators) as well as electrical work, all carried out professionally and to an extremely high standard by the team. The downstairs space became vast with a new lounge diner and newly extended kitchen. This was now a property that would most certainly be a comfortable family home very soon.
The quality of the work and sheer passion from Horizon shows in every part of the build. Their work is second to none and shows exceptional attention to detail.
The family are thrilled and have already asked Horizon to make a return visit when they reach the next stage of development; praise itself for a job well done, and credit to a wonderful team who eat and breath their trade.
