GDT, a local driving school, has teamed up with The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity to host DRIVE4JOSH, a fun mock driving test that will highlight HOW good you really are on the roads whilst fund raising!
Graham, a driving instructor, is looking for victims, errrm, we mean participants, to take part in a mock driving test.
All participants will be taken round the same route (and various time slots are available) where their driving will be monitored by an app (the black box used by various insurance companies). This will mark your driving style and control out of 100.
Points will then be deducted for any faults you make whilst driving (with penalties for not checking mirrors, driving one handed and road rage)!
The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity will be holding a presentation event at The Village Hotel (24th September) to announce the winner and runners up. There will be some fabulous prizes on offer for the best drivers so the question is, how good a driver are you really and are you willing to put it to the test?
This local charity wants as many people to take part as possible; they’ve already pre-sole 50% of the allocation for participants and that’s before the official launch!

Alternatively, if you would like to be involved with the donation of any driving related prizes (if you can think of anything) or sponsoring the buffet at the evening event, the charity would greatly appreciate it.
