What's it all about?
We all know that great service is important, service with a smile and a cheery disposition from people that you like and trust, that deliver quality, regardless of whether it's a meal at your local restaurant or the extension that you are having built. It's the decision maker when you part with your hard earned cash.
Local and Loved is all about recognising all of those things, bringing to the forefront of the town all of those businesses that may be somewhat hidden, under the radar or just not as established as others. It's about supporting our local, independent retailers too, those that may just have that unique little something that you just don't find anywhere else!
From the 1st to the 14th February 2014, our business members will embark on a campaign that needs YOUR HELP.
We need to know who you love most in your business community? Is it the butcher, the independent gift shop or maybe that little garage down the side street that is a hidden gem waiting to be found?
Look out for the campaign material in your local thebestofbury businesses and make sure that each time you visit one of our business members you fill in a review card and show how much you love them for what they do for you.
We will be hosting a Local and Loved event at the Village Hotel, Bury to kick start everything very soon and we'd love to see you there on Friday 31st January to find out more and get yourself entered into the prize draw with a chance to win not one but 2 fantastic prizes.
Last year Tompsons Fish and Chip Shop were the most loved business in Bury and the second most loved business in the whole of the UK!
They now boast almost 2,000 reviews to their name.
