Bury locals were taken by surprise on Thursday (28th), as they witnessed what looked like Kate Middleton sat in a wedding dress, seemingly contemplating her fate over a coffee in Barista Cafe Bar at The Rock Bury, just 24hrs before she was due to walk down the aisle!
Shoppers took a double take and crowds gathered to take photos of Kate sitting in the window, looking pensive as she played with the infamous sapphire and diamond engagement ring. She wore a stunning wedding dress, which was possibly an alternative choice to the Alexander McQueen dress she wore on the Big Day.
So what brought Kate Middleton to Bury? We can only assume it was the pull of the fabulous shops at The Rock that gave the bride some welcome respite from the stress of wedding plans. It is safe to say that Kate returned safely to London in time to wed her Prince on Friday 29th April.
