Shortlists soon to be announced for Made In Bury Business AwardsThere's not too long to wait until the short lists are announced for this year's Made In Bury Business Awards. Now in their 5th year this local business awards celebrates the great businesses that Bury is home to.
It's incredible to see just what great variety of companies that we have here, from the new start ups that are beginning their business journey, to solicitors that have been practising in our town for hundreds of years, right through to International companies that have long had their base here.
Each and every one has a story to tell and right now, the judges are painstakingly reading and making tough decisions about each and every application that has been submitted. It's not an easy task as there really are so many worthy of the accolade, and in previous years, as I'm sure this year will be too, choosing the finalists is often a tough call to make.
Shortlists will be announced on the 25th September. Those businesses will then be invited to "meet and greet" with the judges on the 13th October giving them an opportunity to show their passion and enthusiasm for their brand, and for the judges to meet each company and ask their questions about each business entry.
