www.photography-forum.org is one of the highest ranked photography forums in the world and every year we try to do as much as we can for charity. Last year we raised over £200 to equip a childrens cancer ward with canvas prints to help brigten the place up. This year we had a World Cup event in June and July and managed to get £150 for the “Wish upon a star” charity, who grant wishes for terminally ill children.
Our next project was a calendar. We chose the “Help for Heroes” charity and over the past 9 months have been selecting the images to go in the calendar. The theme was landscapes and we have some stunning images, which are available to view on the forum here.
The images will be printed and ready for posting in early December but we have already taken pre orders for over 65 of the calendars. The calendars are A4 in size and cost £7.50 including postage and packing. We hope that between £3.50 and £4.00 per calendar will be going straight to “Help for Heroes”
