This month, BusinessLodge welcomed a new afternoon receptionist to their team. Say hello to Yasmin! We spoke to Yasmin about her new role and found out a little bit more about her…
Hi Yasmin! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what you did before joining BusinessLodge?
Hey! So I’m 27 and I live in Brandlesholme, Bury. I live with my partner and our 6 year old little girl called Katelynn. We love our family days out and spending so much quality time together. I enjoy reading, going on long walks (I’m obsessed with views so higher the better) and like every girl does -shopping!
So before starting my employment here at Bury BusinessLodge I was working at a hotel in Bury on the main reception. I loved working there and gained a lot of qualities but I needed a bigger challenge but still wanted to stay in customer service and on the main reception.
What is the best aspect of your new job?
Meeting new clients, learning my new job role and the staff are so lovely and very welcoming!
What job do you think you would be terrible at?
Anything to do with spiders or small bugs Ugh!!!!
Do you have any pets?
No, but we are looking at getting a little kitten.
What is your dream holiday destination?
I would say Disney land as it is somewhere I haven’t been before but would love to go as a family!
If you had to go a week without the internet or a TV, how would you keep yourself busy?
Clean clean clean (I’m obsessed with cleaning), go on long walks, gardening, socialise with friends,
and of course shopping!
What is the best gift you have ever given?
I got a personalised chain and locket for my daughter, like a best friend’s necklace, and it has a
picture of me and her inside which was taken a few minutes after she was born. It’s locked away
until she turns 18 - a very special gift!
What is the best gift you have ever received?
Might sound cheesy but meeting my partner and having our special little girl Katelynn, she really did
change my whole view on life!
