Staff at Mill Gate Shopping Centre have ditched clothes to produce a fun naked calendar - to raise money for a fantastic cause.
24 members of staff from the shopping centre's shops, management, security and maintenance departments volunteered to strip off for 12 daring images, which will be used in a daring charity calendar, raising funds for Bury Hospice.
The naked calendar, which shows member of staff covering their modesty in parts of the shopping centre, costs £5 and is available from a number of outlets at the Mill Gate.
Marie Gribben, centre manager at the Mill Gate, came up with the Calendar Girls-esque idea and contacted retailers. What was first three volunteers quickly grew to an amazing 24!
Lisa Durkin, who shot the calendar over the course of four weeks, said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure to be part of this project, it has been great fun doing it and I hope it raises lots of money for Bury Hospice.”
Bury Hospice is an independent registered charity delivering end-of-life care and support to terminally ill patients, and their loved ones. This calendar will be helping aid the services of the charity, which offers advice, complementary therapies, counselling and more.
If you would like to purchase the calendar, you can visit the Calendar Club in the Mill Gate and other participating retailers.
Well done to everyone who participated in the calendar from thebestofbury!
