Leading Bury HR Consultancy People Matters HR are celebrating after being recognised with membership of a prestigious business accolade.
The team has been awarded entry in to The Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, a membership and assessment scheme that aims to raise employment standards across GM, and is open to organisations of any size, sector or geography.
It aims to position GM as a leading exemplar of good employment in the UK, a place where people have equal access to quality work that is inclusive, fairly compensated, offers security and flexibility and cultivates an environment where health and wellbeing thrives. The scheme is supported by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.

In order to be eligible for membership, People Matters HR had to demonstrate that they have made a commitment to improving practice in all characteristics of good employment. During a stringent assessment process, criteria must be reached which includes secure work, flexible work, pay, engagement and voice, recruitment, people management, health and wellbeing and resources for employers.
