The borough’s young musical talent will be on show again at this year’s Powersound festival in Radcliffe.
Now in its 11th year, the competition is open to bands and singers alike who can win a day in a recording studio. This year the competition takes on a new format: instead of heats over a month, acts will compete in a one night only event!
Band night is Saturday August 28, with soloists battling it out the following day (Aug 29).
Powersound takes place at Radcliffe Civic Suite, and entries are welcome from over-11s.
For an application form, email powersound@bury.gov.uk
Families and friends who wish to see the acts perform can buy tickets (costing £5) from Radcliffe Civic Suite on 0161 253 7812.
