Your ‘Official’ job role for Square Peg – Recruitment Consultant - a 360 role which means that I go out networking, meet clients, generate new business, write job adverts, resource and interview candidates and place the right people in the right roles! Phew! I love it and buzz every day!
Quick over view of the company in your words – Square Peg are an ethical recruitment agency who specialise in finding the right person for the culture fit of the business. We are a friendly, people orientated business who love placing candidates into their dream role! We receive lots of praise and thank you notes which is an excellent boost. We really enjoy what we do.
Tell us a little about yourself - I am very much a people person. I love to surround myself with great people. I enjoy socialising with my friends, family and clients too. That's the fun part of the job. I’m easily influenced into drinking a gin or two! I do love a good boogie; you’ll find it hard to peel me away from the dance floor. I am 3 years into my recruiting career and still smiling a lot! I can lock myself away and get my head down or still do a cartwheel down the office now and again!
Do you have any hobbies? – does socialising class as a hobby? Whoops?!
Who is your role model? Michael Jackson, because he lights up the pavement when he dances.

Your ‘Official’ job role for Square Peg – Recruitment Director
A very hands on role which involves lots of networking and client meetings. I love to be out of the office though I still roll up my sleeves and interview our candidates as well as leading the team. Hopefully in a motivational way!

Tell us a little about yourself – Mmm… how long have you got, lol! An Accrington girl at heart who is driven to succeed. Likes to leave no stone unturned to do well. I am a mum to my young son Harry. Love to holiday and see new cultures, always try to speak the language wherever I am, no matter if it's done well or not. Likes a nice tipple or two and enjoys climbing a big mountain every now and then. I've done the National and Yorkshire 3 Peaks.
Do you have any hobbies? – Holidays, travel, family time!
Who is your role model? An old boss of mine that totally inspired, trained and believed in me! They know who they are!

Tell us something no one knows – I played netball up to a decent standard and represented the North West Civil Service team playing at tournaments around the country.

Tell us a little about yourself –
I love to meet new people and socializing. I have an amazing little girl and husband who mean the world to me and I spend most of my time running around and having fun with them. I enjoy good food and nice relaxing movie nights. I come from a Performing Arts background and like a good sing song. I have previously been a Redcoat for the famous Butlins!! I entered recruitment on my return and never looked back. I am a hard worker and believe it pays off. I love nothing more than making a placement and the recruitment world is always exciting and challenging.

Socialising, being a mummy!

Who is your role model?
My mum. She seems to be right about everything she says and her advice has helped me so much to become a successful and happy person. She is a hard worker and has always made sure her family came first.

I am a 3rd Dan Blackbelt instructor in Karate but stopped a few years ago.
We love the team from Square peg and the friendly, hard working team provide a personal service for all of their clients – finding the perfect job for each individual is their number one priority!
