The Meet and Greet is one of the biggest and most important parts of the process at The Made In Bury Business Awards.It's an opportunity for all short listed candidates to sell their products and services and enable each judge to gain a better understanding of their business, their unique selling point, passion and future vision for the growth of their company.

The Meet and Greet is the second and final stage of the judging process where the full panel of judges for each category sit together and have the opportunity to ask the applicant probing questions to find out all they need to know to make their decisions and score them accordingly.  Candidates will have 10 minute appointments, 5 minutes to present their business, and 5 minutes for questions and answers from the judges.  

Square Peg's Director Suzanne Edmondson is once again pleased to be involved with the MIBBA's this year, and looking forward to judging what looks like some incredibly strong candidates.  Suzanne will be judging the "start up business", "manufacturing and engineering" and "large" business categories this year, and couldn't be happier.

Suzanne's previous experience really opened her eyes to the vast amount of amazing businesses that Bury is home to, and she's looking forward to finding out more about those she has not yet had the opportunity to meet.

For now, along with all of the other judges, Suzanne's focus is on judging the initial stage of applications and scoring each one based on a set criteria which looks at various elements of each business and their application.
We, along with Suzanne and the other judges will find out who made the shortlist on 17th September and who they'll be meeting for the Meet and Greet which takes place on the 5th October.

The winners will be announced at the MIBBA's will take place on the 22nd November
