Square Peg Associates are excited to announce that they have welcomed two new members of staff. Managing Director, Suzanne Edmonds, welcomed both Ebony Alderson and Olivia Horsfield in July as Recruitment Consultants. They are both excited to support clients of Square Peg and match them to the perfect candidate. It's great to see that the Square Peg team and business are growing, and Ebony and Olivia will no doubt continue to develop and support this growth.

Ebony Alderson

Ebony graduated this year from The University of Central Lancashire and jumped right into the world of work and recruitment. Ebony previously worked in the customer service industry and has great admin, social and organisational skills which are already proving helpful in her new role. She is a very enthusiastic and positive person, and the team at Square Peg say she brings sunshine and laughter into the office on a daily basis. 

In her personal life, Ebony is very social and has lots of friends. She is very spontaneous and loves to try something new. She even appeared as an extra on the show First Dates a couple of years ago! Although she did admit the sole purpose was to meet the host, Fred.

We asked Ebony what her favourite thing about her new role at Square Peg is. She replied, "I enjoy being able to challenge myself and love working with an inspiring, hardworking team".

Olivia Horsfield

Square Peg has also welcomed Olivia Horsfield to the team. Prior to joining us, Olivia completed both an LLB Bachelor and LLM with an LPC Master of Law degree. Olivia has utilised her degrees and has worked at large, reputable solicitor firms. She decided to have a career change and decided that with her experience and knowledge, that recruitment would be the perfect challenge. 

Olivia is lucky enough to have travelled around the world and has lived in multiple countries. When Olivia was younger, she utilised her summer breaks to work at children's summer camps in Paris. She says that her experience taught her a range of skills and life lessons, the most important one being patience! Travelling has also given her an insight into diversity and culture which is always extremely valuable.

Olivia can apply her work and social experiences to many of the skills a recruiter needs. We asked Olivia to describe herself in three words and she chose "Transparent, ambitious and bubbly".

It's great to see that both members of staff have adapted to recruitment and settled in with the Square Peg team.

"Ebony & Olivia are both very bright Graduates with hands-on work experience dealing with business clients as well as thorough administration experience.

These skills, coupled with their zest, learning capacity and drive to succeed, meant they fit in with the Square Peg ethos well and were balled over to have the opportunity to work within the Recruitment Sector.

Both have successfully placed quality candidates within their first month which is superb."
