Firefighter Stephen Hunt's funeral is to take place on Tuesday 3rd September at Bury Parish Church.
Road closures will be in place from 9.30am with roads around the church to be closed as the cortege moves along Bolton Street into the town centre.
The public are invited to line the streets as a mark of respect and the service will be broadcast outside via loudspeakers.
Greater Manchester Fire Service will form a guard of honour as the coffin is brought into the church.
A fire service vehicle which will be positioned on The Rock will host a book of condolences for anyone wishing to pay their respects.
Stephen Hunt died on 13th July.
