Our very own Ian Oliver from Property Search Group will be taking part in a tandem skydive alongside his friend Terry Saliba (Abilas Computer Services) to raise funds for MedEquip4Kids.
Terry and Ian will each be strapped to an instructor for this incredible challenge and have set up a Just Giving page to make donating as easy as possible. All money raised will be given to help the work of MedEquip4Kids, a local charity that supports sick and injured children in and out of hospital. MedEquip4Kids are also thebestofbury's Charity of the Year.
By working in partnership with hospitals, the charity improves the care available to children. MedEquip4Kids provides medical equipment specifically for paediatric use and funds projects to make hospital environments more beneficial to children and their families.
It is also important to MedEquip4Kids that children are treated at home wherever possible, which is why they support community health projects. All of this reduces the time children spend in hospital and the stress that can surround illness or accidents.
