Team bestof welcomes new apprentice

The New Year brought with it a new member of staff here at thebestof bury - say hello our brand new apprentice and Junior Copywriter, Lottie Collins!

Although Lottie only joined our team last week we've already been suitably impressed with the high standard of her work and enthusiasm for the role. We're also clearly very jealous of her love for all things equestrian, as Lottie owns her own horse, named Goldie.

On starting her new role, Lottie commented:

"Since starting my role as apprentice copywriter on the 3rd of January I have been introduced into the team at thebestof and shown how the business works. During my first week I was taught how to write features, events, offers and testimonials and how to add this information onto the website. Through the course of my apprenticeship I look forward to becoming skilled in feature writing.

With a shortage of jobs in the area finding work was difficult but thanks to Bury College's Golden Hello I was lucky enough to start an apprenticeship in an area of great interest to me. The Golden Hello offered training to gain essential skills, knowledge and experience needed to fulfil my role."

The Golden Hello scheme is available to young, unemployed people to gain an Apprenticeship job opportunity with a local employer. The project enables eligible companies to receive a Golden Hello incentive to take on a new Apprentice. The funding provides a significant contribution towards the first six month of the Apprentice's salary.
